Heidi transitioned to private practice in 2016 after working in community and hospital-based mental health care for over ten years. She brings a wealth of experience in anxiety management, sleep disturbances, and chronic pain management to her practice and uses integrated psychotherapy to help her clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Heidi  is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapist. She has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, an Honors Bachelor of Social Work degree from Lakehead University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Western Ontario and is currently completing her Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Heidi is a trained clinical supervisor and provides clinical supervision and consultation to social workers, social service workers and psychotherapists.

Heidi is an integrative therapist who uses a variety of proven strategies to help her clients create a healthy relationship between their mind and body in order to ease anxiety, manage stress, and cope more effectively with life's challenges.

Heidi has received additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Counselling and Clinical Hypnosis (Master Clinician). Heidi is a trained facilitator of the Craving Change™ and Break the Worry Trance™ programs and has specialized training in online counselling from the University of Toronto and World Wide Therapy Online and is pleased to offer her services by telephone and secure video.
